In memory of Anita Phaneuf .. by her friend.

Anita Phaneuf , of St. John’s Newfoundland Canada, passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018, at the age of 70.

In the words of her friend, Bonnie Moss:

“You fought a good fight for 5 years. I know you were ready .. but still I’m in shock. I know you are in Heaven and finally cancer free, which is a blessing. Sure going to miss you sweet lady.”

“Thoughts and prayers to her 2 sons and the Parrell Family.”

“Until we meet again Anita!”

The notice:

Anita Phaneuf was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Ellen Parrell; brothers Brian, David and Christopher. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Marc and Normand (Pam Martin); siblings: Patricia Pelley (Orville), Gerard (Karen), Leonard, Sharon Gough, Elaine (Ed), James, Michael (Debbie) and Gregory (Rhonda); sister-in-law Vivian Parrell; many special close friends who meant so much to Anita; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Caul’s Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anita’s memory may be made to Rover’s Search and Rescue, or to a charity of one’s choice.

  1. Elaine so sorry for your loss!! Anita was wonderful women who fought an awful disease. At least she is pain free. Thinking about you, stay strong at least she’s in a better place!!
